IMHO, more than half the skill in driving is trying to predict and avoid what half the loons on the road are doing. If everyone drove in accordance with the highway code, a key element of which is along the lines of, 'your actions should not cause others to have to deviate in either speed or direction' we would all have a much nicer time on the roads.
