So the Ali Express cables are installed.
My previous wires are a home made twisted pair of Cardas 9.5ga chassis wire that cost $700 alone for the 80 feet and another $50 or so for the Naim 4mm plugs.
Now a pair of 9.5ga are equivalent to a 6.5 ga wire, yet they look positively svelte next to the TODN ones...
It's only been a few minutes of playing after powering down for about 30 minutes. But immediately there are quite obvious tonal differences. Tonally they are more extended and crisper at the top with more detail.
But the LF end is even more apparent....deeper, tighter, more tuneful.
Plucked acoustic guitars are more dynamic and realistic. I have not yet addressed the changes in sounstaging or layering as that will take much more listening to define.
This is still very early and I will give a better evaluation in a week or so after playing .
So far, I can say this is an improvement over the Cardas which again saw off the NACA5.

@rontoolsie Didn't anyone ever tell you size isn't everything.
