hifiakademie: pre-/power amp + network player - anyone?

Hi there.

On the Linn forum I happened to see a reference to a German website which sells DIY kits and finished products that look very interesting. A Class-D power amp, a preamp and a network/cd-player (with three modules: Dac, Network Player, CD drive). Now, has anyone listened to any of these products?

So hifiakademie is not widely known on this side of the channel it seems. They started out as DIY. I'll have to look through German music sites.

I have communicated with Hubert Reitz a few times now. Hifiakademie concentrates on the German market and do not have the capacity to go beyond that at this point in time.

Their Netplayer (with a Dac + a possibility to add one analogue source - even an MC-input, and use it as a Pre-amp) looks very interesting. I may give it a go when I feel the need to go beyond Squeezebox Touch and Aune Dac.
