I haven't heard of the "Reference Signature" but I own a "Reference Reference1" which was the top HO Grado (as distinct from the "Statement" wood bodied range which had only 0.5mV output). Maybe the Reference Signature now replaces my RR1?
Anyway, I find the Grado RR1 is a great cartridge - both for classical and rock. Maybe it gives something away, in terms of the delicacy of HFs, to my Benz LP ... but that is 4x the cost of the Grado!
