[FS] Goodmans RB-65 speakers w/12” bass drivers

Bought these last year as a tester to see if my room could cope with larger speakers. It did, so I bought the Klipsch Cornwalls.

These sound stupidly good for the money and are a lot of fun. They’ve also have had the surrounds professionally replaced and the crossovers tested. The large driver is 12” with separate mid and treble drivers. I found them to be well-balanced and not boomy in my smallish room. I had them in a couple of IKEA chairs. The grille covers are included too.

A bargain at £150.

bought these just prior to getting the Cornwalls to test my room with larger speakers. I was using LS3/5a at the time. The Goodmans are very good - sounded great with a Quad 303.

Wasn't there a Beovox speaker that was based on the RB-65?

Not that I’m aware of. The Beovox 5000 was conceptually similar but the Mk.1 pre-dated the RB-65 by a good 5 years.
