Good vintage turntable repairers

Hello

I am considering buying a vintage direct drive turntable (probably Japanese 1970's or early 80's) and wondered if people here new of anyone who can service and repair these, preferably in the North of England.

Andrew at Doug Brady in Warrington used to work for Pink Triangle, and is a serious turntable geek.

Be aware some of the Japanese DD stuff is pretty complicated electrically (compared to a belt drive), so either buy known good items or expect a fair amount to fix it if you cannot do so yourself

Even if they're not overly complicated, some have ICs that are no longer available.

Technics Sl-1100 or 110 have relative simple power supply without quartz and ICs.
