Good CD Player For Naim 112 and 150

The OP is a student with a restricted budget, people are quoting CDP's worth £1000's unless I've lost touch with reality that's a huge amount of money for a student to be borrowing in student loans to buy a CD spinner.

The OP hasn't mentioned budget either but i'm more surprised that he has mentioned a CDP at all. I'd have thought a student of all people would be spinning tunes from a computer or an iPod?

If its of any use to you, central audio appear to have a selection of used Naim cd players (models mentioned in this thread) in stock at the moment.

Be carefully if looking at Naim cd3 as Naim told me 2 years ago that replacement mechanisms are not available anymore.

I understand there are no such issues with cd3.5, cd5 or cd5x.
Check with Salisbury before parting with cash.

All three of the above mentioned players will sound good on your system. The cd5x will be best but most pricy.

There is also a cheaper cd5i in the hierarchy but it had no power supply upgrade socket if I recall.
