Arguably safer in the nick and I think he's realised it.What happens now?? Automatically has to serve the remainder of the 16 year sentence?
He’s 79 in May. You’d think he’d have realised he has no hiding place for his perversion.
Yes, he is terminally, terminally stupid. If he weren't, he would have had a set aside PC with all his grot on it. If it goes sick, hard drive out and into a fire. New HDD, repeat. Nobody would have known. Still, he's where he belongs. He is into crass stupidity. Originally nicked when he asked PC World support to change file associations on a laptop full of paedophile porn. Knicked now for trying to reach dark net.
I wonder if he and Savile were connected as abusers.
IIRC on one of the Savile documentaries, Netflix I think, there is some pretty uncomfortable footage of them together with a young audience.
It was one of Glitter's singles titles.I don't think he's into boys
Not sure about that, but the thing that really nailed the “is he./isn’t he? question that hung over Savile for decades for me was when Savile defended Glitter after Glitter was busted, on the grounds that all he’d done was look at some photos, which “wasn’t so bad.” But yeah, wouldn’t have liked to have taken my chances in the TOTP studio when those two were around.I wonder if he and Savile were connected as abusers.
It was one of Glitter's singles titles.
Prophetically, the B-side track was titled "Good for No Good".
It’s grim looking back on it. The state broadcaster having a monopolistic tv show for popular music, hosted by some frankly odd middle aged men among an audience whose members were young enough to have been fathered by them. Then the choice of music -mimed of course- ridiculous cabaret type bands that should have been confined to the working men’s club circuit. Then the notorious censorship that looked like something from East Germany. Here’s a few examples while in the background they had employees and performers actually abusing kids:Glad my "musical" reference was spotted. I did have to google his "output" to find it as although I'm old enough to remember I couldn't stand it in period, hope my research hasn't got me on a list! Always struck me as odd how some of my school pals were fans and even went to a Gary Glitter gig.
