Front panels diy everything

So ive built a BPBP pre amp with a remote control stepped attenuator and ill only be running two sources so only one switch needed. The way the connections run i can bodge in any switch type, i could make one from a trailing Trs plug and two sockets if i wanted.

Question is what cool switch gear you seen? All examples kindly received.

I fancy making it look a bit like an analogue patch bay synth, led display, one rotary and a two option trs plug on short lead. I can do anything with the chassis so fancy having some fun.

Another route would be the OLED switches... With a Pi/arduino behind it it could do custom context sensitive display using it.

To be fair I'm homing in on something like this.

I'd add pointless lettering and a retro switch with loads of dummy sockets that do nowt and only two that work, make it like a puzzle, bit of a pastiche too.
