The album Golden Hour by Caitlin Canty arrived today... been after this CD for ages, could only find it for silly prices, it's on Bandcamp, but P&P is mad from the US so I wrote to Caitlin and she very kindly had a friend of hers in the UK send me a copy.

A friend of mine can't understand how someone could like a song in a language you don't understand, I have tried to educate him... sometimes, the beauty of the voice and music transcends language.

Indeed...
That's how I have music sung in German, Polish, Mongol, Czech, Danish, Norwegian, Lithuanian, Russian, Chinese, Sardinaian, and a few unidentified African and Asian languages... None of which I've ever studied.
Alongside music in languages I master, namely English and French or have notions of such as Finnish, Spanish and Swedish
