Fiio A5, Any Users?

Hi All,

I usually listen to music when out with a Samsung Tablet into my Sennheiser HD280s.

Will I get a tighter control of bass with an A5?

The headphones sound better from my main power amp or even the PC so I guess voltage / power is the problem as the tab isn't too bad as a source usually.

Any opinions appreciated

Just a quick follow up in case anyone does a search, got the A5 and it's a great upgrade if you don't mind another box.

I now use it with a Huawei Mate 20lite and set volume on the phone close to max. Hi gain on the Fiio and bass on but I had to set
the phone eq for ideal sq. Low volume on the Fiio knob.

I think it provides more voltage, seems to improve the bass a lot but also treble is much less fragile. Far more max output than i'll ever need
unless totally deaf in 20 years time.
