Yes I loved Ska and rocksteady, I don't think I've ever heard any Bob Marley I haven't liked either. Never a fan of electronica beyond Ultravox sort of thing or rap, soul isn't our thing although Motown is good

Looking back to the late 70 the reggae in the charts was all good as I remember although I remember very little, Althea and Donna, Eddie Grant spring to mind . It really is a bit of a mystery how I never got any further than a couple of gigs and the car radio

Strange listening to an album whose demands have patently not been met, even in 2021. But Book of Life is great and rides a timeless riddim, which many will be familiar with.

Here's an outside choice/recommendation - "Dub Side Of The Moon". DSOTM is probably my favourite album of all time but Dub Side is also wonderful.

Thanks for the recommendation but thing is I don't know Radiohead stuff well enough to get the in jokes whereas DSOTM I know every note, every subtlety, every inflection. Should do, being playing it non-stop since about 1974!

The Soul Jazz "Black Man's Pride" compilations are really worth checking out.
There are a lot of magnificent reggae singles by artists who never got to make albums, and compilations in general are a great way to get into these.

Great Album - the original Trojan release disappeared quite quickly at the time.
