Favourite Movie Score

Anyone have any suggestions? I get frustrated a bit by them as so much is soundscape and then I hear a great piece and it is only 1 minute long

I collect soundtracks, the first to come to mind is, The Ipcress File.

The second choice would be The Taking Of Pelham 1,2,3 - the older David Shire soundtrack. Marvellous.

Ry Cooder’s Paris Texas OST. Atmospheric, haunting and one of the few OSTs you can sit and listen to all the way through.

In digging out a suitable clip - I notice that the Danish National Symphony Orchestra appeared to have covered a lot of film scores.

John Williams.. take your pick of any number of greats
I am personally fond of the Zabriskie Point sound track ( its not truly a film score but then nor is A Hard days Night )
