It's not a theory, it's a hypothesis. It's well known, hypothesis is where it has stayed.

I will. There's none. Not even enough to be able to say "some evidence they might" which is about as thin and speculative as it gets. When you consider the chemistry of how antibacterial chemicals work, antibiotic resistance and bacterial mutation, there isn't a means for it to happen. It's speculation.

To answer the OP, yes. I don't see masks as a threat to my personal freedom. They are more akin to seat belts and speed limits IMO. If wearing a mask for 3 months a year saves 1000s thousands of lives then thumbs up. Sure they can be uncomfortable at times but they are also useful for keeping one's face warm on a cold winter's day.

As a bank robber they've been a boon to trade, which had dropped off a bit since the ban on wearing crash helmets on banking premises.
