Exposure Pre/Power Query

Hi

I'm interested in getting an Exposure pre/power combo and have a few questions:

I have 1k to 1.5k to spend on a secondhand pre/power - what are the better combos for vinyl playback?

I'm tempted by a 17/18/Super 18 set-up - how much could I expect to pay for a decent 18 or super 18 amp?

Is it straightforward to swap a MM for MC stage in the pre-amps?

I'm a complete novice on these but I like the sound. Any help appreciated.

18 - £275- £325 very approx.

18S - £375 ish- very approx

17 pre £275 - £340 - very approx

See Wazzas in ads. Looks very good indeed for £600. Got the proper exposure xlr's too which were pricey. Boxes also.
I dont know Wazza .

Phono stage change on 17 not straightforward. Think it involves a good bit of soldering , with all the risks if not experienced. Spare individual boards mm/mc ?- Iv never seen one for sale even if a dab hand at soldering.

I have a 17 fitted with MC stage - was done at Exposure as soldering involved. Not my thing!
Love my 17/18 combo. Have been through many amps over the years, won't be changing now!
BTW I still have the MM stage which was removed if anyone is looking for one.
