Yes, I used regular fibreglass insulation batts, uncompressed and cut to fit the 8L or enclosure.

Edit once more: where did you get those lovely M8 fixings that you used to fix the front and backs of the speakers to the cabinets? They look fabulous.

I got them from my regular fastener supplier. They are black oxide counter-sunk machine bolts. If you have no joy locating some in your area, I'm sure I can send a packet to you via snail-mail.
