Epos ES14 longevity

My next set of speakers will hopefully be Epos ES14. I'm looking for something with a stronger bass than my current Tablette 2000s (which I will keep for my other room - because they are brilliant).

The more I read about them, the more stories I see about blown woofers.

Are they coming towards the end of their natural life span or are these the unlucky ones?

Also, if anyone has or knows of a surplus set with original stands... let me know

The problem is that there is no way of sourcing replacement drivers.

Even the last of them is getting old now.

If they are like the ES11s then they will have a monolithic baffle/woofer basket which makes replacing the suspension impractical. At least the suspension isn't foam so it may not deteriorate as quickly, but it's something to consider.
