[WTD] Eminent Technology LFT 8 speakers

Hifi hangar doesn't import them anymore unfortunately. I listened to a pair a few years back at their shop, wonderful speakers. I think the latest version is 8c with DSP.

It is possible to buy them direct from Eminent Technology. $3800 usd’s, not including import duties and taxes.

Thank you for that, I hadn’t seen that advert and for some reason my search didn’t turn it up. I have contacted the seller but I think he may just be selling the wood trims !

There was a guy in Germany selling a pair that he advertised as being 8b‘s. With the help of a very kind English Fishie living in Germany I got quite a long way down the track towards buying them. Then I obtained the serial numbers and checked with the manufacturer, who told me they were made in 1996 so they must be the original 8 model. The 8b came out in 2017 ! The seller was asking 8b money for them as well. Lots of unscrupulous people out there !
So I’m still looking. I’d even be interested in faulty ones as long as that was reflected in the price . . . .
