November 2012 - RIP Eduardo de Lima - Aged 54, the Brazilian auteur and designer of the famous Audiopax Model 88 and later the flagship 100-watt class A1 Maggiore 100 triode monos and various other electronics and speakers, passed away during surgery for an aneurysm in a Rio de Janeiro hospital.
Local friends and admirers attending his funeral reportedly honored him with a long standing ovation. Eduardo is survived by his wife and numerous children and his business partner Silvio who shared managing responsibilities at Audiopax.
Anyone who ever met Eduardo all thought what a nice man he was including myself.
