EAR 834L line stage pre amplifier (tube rolling)

Hi, do's anyone have any experience with tube rolling with this pre amp. Also any recommendations on the most suitable valves.

A least someone is offering a little help, even if he do's work at the eye's ear's and nosey clinic.

i can recommend Mullard valves. I got them from Watford valves a few years ago. A bit on the dear side but worth it. Overall sound improved. More detailed with a bigger soundstage. More natural sounding.
EAR being used with a Clearaudio Performance through a Classe dr2 power amp (which sounded better than a Krell KSA150 in comparison), this is driving a pair of Yamaha ns1000's.

It's hard to beat Telefunken ECC82s if you can find them.
