Advertising solely due to lack of interest in the Dynaudio Contour 1.3SE also advertised. These were bought on the assumption that the 1.3SEs would be a quick sale, due to their scarcity and longstanding reputation as a classic model. To my surprise the 1.3SEs are still here, so these are now available also. Both are excellent speakers so I'll let the market decide which pair are keepers - once one set sells, the other will be withdrawn.
With regards to size and finish, they share a lot in common. Performance wise, the 1.3SEs are a close second but represent far better value for money in my opinion. The Heritage Specials have age on their side plus a better tweeter. For fans of classic Dynaudio house sound and looks they are as good as it gets in terms of bookshelf sized offerings.
In line with recent used sale prices I am asking £4,800 ono. This was a limited edition which sold out quickly and rarely appear for sale on the used market.
Collection in person from South Wales is preferable. Buyers unable to make the journey are welcome to arrange a courier at own risk & cost providing payment is settled in full beforehand, be aware that the speakers will be your responsibility as soon as they leave the house. I would be far more comfortable dealing in person so that condition and working order can be assessed prior to them changing hands.
