Very interesting poll results, which may quieten things down!

It would be a very different poll if the questions related to buyers of new Naim equipment. I think that the breakdown would be considerably different and probably point to the fact that the pfm demographic is probably 90% used Naim equipment. To that end many Naim users are not actually Naim customers as such, though they continue to be supported by the company.

Err not quite methinks - you have this arse-about-face. Once you've purchased something and return it to the manufacturer for PAID service, your money is supporting the company.

Nope, their primary business is developing, manufacturing and selling new Hifi equipment. If you buy a used 555 on pfm you are not a Naim customer, you are a Naim user.

They provide a service facility to support their brand. The fact that some people reckon the service side is expensive is neither here nor there, try servicing a Porsche, Aston, Ferrari or any other specialist piece of equipment and you will face similar costs. Of course there are one man bands with low overheads who can do it for less, but you're back in to the position of not being a Naim customer, just an owner.

You can't compare Naim with specialist cars, the only bit af say an amp that is Naim exclusive is the casework. The rest is off the shelf electronic componentry that you can buy off the shelf at Maplin or Farnell. OK, it's well screwed together but let's not pretend that a Porsche has to be screwed together with Porsche nuts and bolts. They are just fasteners from any fastener shop, same as the innards of a Naim rig.

Authorised dealers sell ex dem & 2nd hand equipment with the full support of Naim.

Still only 1 person intends to buy Naim in future out of 301 votes!

You just don't quit do you?

I've come to the conclusion that you are either a stuck record or a parrot who has been taught a selection of phrases which you repeat by wrote irrespective of the question or suggestion that your argument or logic is flawed.
