DIY DSP Active Speakers

I would like complete control over the phase behaviour (but I would need a way of measuring phase too ...) but let's say for now delays would be sufficient: is there anything out there you recommend?

Many thanks and sorry for the delayed (!) response.

Not being entirely familiar with your setup its hard to give a specific recommendation.

To start measuring id recommend the umik 1, which is a calibrated usb microphone, and Room Eq Wizard. This will allow you to measure in room response and start looking at phase.

Wthout a pc, the basic minidsp 2x4 with the advanced plugin will run a 2.1 crossover, with adjustable delays and eq.

For complete phase control, ie to correct the phase response of the main speakers and subwoofer you want to use rephase: http://www.minidsp.com/applications/advanced-tools/rephase-fir-tool

Probably with the minisharc.

I probably wouldn't go to such lengths just to correct the phase of the subwoofer, or even the mains. However, a well adjusted 2.1 crossover with room correction in the bass would bring many benefits.
