Denon DL110 has died. Any ideas for a replacement?

I had a 103 (nuded) on my Technics arm. Definitely needed mass on the headshell to bring it up to spec, resonance wise. Sounded good though when I got it there. It boogied like a good 'un, but I missed the top end detail which I understand the R has a little more of. You may need a bigger counterweight on the arm - I had a big old brass one someone on AoS manufactured.

I think it's hard to replace the DL110 at the price. However, good results from Nagoaka MP110 and for more bucks I like Goldring's 1042.
I currently run a DL110, it's very nice. It replaced a 1042 that had done a lot of miles and may be now past its best. I like both, they are equally good to my ears. Not used a Nagaoka.

Well, I ended up going for the AT33-PTG mkII. Love it! To be fair the DL110 is great value but I find the AT33-PTG is so much more refined. I can pick out a lot more detail on my records now. Great bass and the top end is much nicer.

Thank you to those who recommended it.

Cheers
Mike
