Hello,

We have a little Creek CAS4040 (RCA) And were thinking about using it with the PC, and of course we will need to get speakers.

Any good particular bookshelf speakers that work well with this amp? Not sure on budget just yet, but some suggestions will be grate.

yes its a little beauty of an amp. fast rythmic timing and superb detail.

I have just been testing one with some Royd minstrels and Coniston Rs.

I wouldnt worry. It will drive most good bookshelf speakers. You will have to decide what your budget is and I would suggest a good used classic speaker.
 
I have the 4040..and it's a cracking amp. I've just bought a pair of Minstrels to partner it..and selling a pair of minty Kef Coda III speakers that work very well with it..If you're interested please feel free to get in touch..
