Very nice machine. Definitely worth money! Even the ubiquitous 4000DS or DB can make £300 these days. Pretty much anything that can take a proper 10” NAB reel is worth cash.

Provided the heads are still OK then the TC-850 is a nice machine, and shouldn't take too much work to get running well. It's an odd one because it lacks some of the niceties that arrived with the TC-755/6 such as Symphase and the F&F heads, which probably make those decks a safer bet, but it's a LOT less money than its successor, the TC-880 (I would LOVE one of these). I see it has sold for a best offer, so someone might well have got a bargain there. Was it anybody on here?
