To use the SA60 with the AP60 as pre amplifier in an active system (as designed), they need to be used with active speakers, such as A&R Cambridge Arcam One or ARC101's with an applicable crossover card installed - not supplied.

Very rarely all seen together and with the speakers.

Price seems a bit high (open to offers though) but condition looks pretty good.

I know the combination of Planar 2, A60 and AR18s well, and it is a very synergistic and fun system that punches well above its weight. That said if the ARs have had the wrong surrounds fitted all bets are right off. I remember them when they were new.

In the description: One interesting thing to point out, the badge on one of the speaker cabinet faces is wrong (AR8S - a different cabinet entirely) quite probably done by the factory. I actually did not notice this mistake for about 10 years!
