Cleaning B&W Matrix 801 speaker grills

Hey guys,

I recently bought a pair of B&W Matrix 801 Series 2 speakers and spent quite a bit of time cleaning them up, straightening out the metal frame of the speaker grills, touching up scuff marks.

I was wondering if anyone had advice on how best to clean the speaker grill cloth? As per the photos it's quite grimmey but don't want to damage/shrink them in the process.

I would imagine one of the spray on foaming carpet cleaners in an aerosol would work best.

You can buy 'dry cleaning' in a can. If memory serves, you spray it over evenly, allow to dry to a powdery finish and then hoover off.

Not sure, it's probably a bit of both. They were pretty dirty but the rest of the cabinets cleaned up good and they sound amazing! Will see if I can find this dry cleaning in a can.
