Clarence Clemons RIP

It was announced earlier today that Clarence Clemons saxophone player with Bruce Springsteen has died aged 69.

He suffered a stroke a week ago and died yesterday.

RIP.
 
That's a shame.

I saw him perform a few times with Springsteen, including their first English gig at the Hammersmith Odeon in the mid-Seventies.

He's left some excellent music behind.

Not a Bruce fan but it's still sad, Clarence has been his right hand man on stage for almost 40 years, that's gotta be a painful blow.
