Yep, it has been on sale for a long time now.

I hadn't realised the Palette worked as a pre-amp, I thought it was just an EQ.

Audio Pallette and Pallette Preamp are two different products.

I heard a demonstration of a Cello system including the Audio Pallette, through a pair of tiny AR M1 speakers, it was quite impressive, especially the way it held together with complex music. I think the speakers were cheaper than the pre-to-power interconnects in that system.
