Officially Awesome
Rip them all and play the files. No getting up at all! That's what I have done. Says the man who recently bought a £5000 CD player!as I get older I dislike the additional step of loading a disc

My Sony CDP-XB930 has a puck. Can be had for cheap second hand.
I've had mine for 20 years now (Richer Sounds grey import job).
Rip them all and play the files.
Wow! That’s looks the business.I had a Nagra CDC for a while. Ridiculously expensive now.
Well, I'll be 74 tomorrow!* While technically a computer, I use an Innuos Zenith 2 server/streamer. Although at the moment I am having trouble with the new playing app, generally it is so simple to rip a CD to the drive. Put it in the slot and it does it.Many do so it seems.
Even the advantages, I'd couldn't even dream of doing this.
Playing from a computer don't attract me the slightest.
Maybe its age related.
