[FS] Castle Avon S or R £50

For sale: Castle Avon Spares or repair.
Selling on behalf of a family friend who doesn't use the Internet. I put him the system together 25 years ago with these.
If I had more time, I'd have a go at these. The cabinets are a work of art.

Reasonably presentable looking but i had a quick listen and one bass driver doesn't seem to be working.
Could be an easy fix for some one in the know.

I currently own a pair of Avons and agree with you about the quality of the cabinet design/construction. They are a real piece of furniture and sound good too!
Co-incidentally, mine also suffered from one of the mid range drivers failing and I tracked it down to a broken tinsel wire. As my soldering skills are not good, I sourced a replacement driver.
