Cartridgeman Music Maker 3 availability

With the sad passing of Len Gregory last year is it right to assume that this fantastic cartridge will no longer be available? I’ve had a cursory look online and see that several retailers now list it as discontinued.

Len modded them himself so unlikely unless somebody has some old stock. They were good cartridges.

I’ve thought of having mine checked just to see what could be revived. Maybe he left the suspension standard? That could then be replaced and some sort of tip approximating the original fitted. Bit miffed he didn’t leave some sort of support in place even if only a PDF of second best options….

@lordmortlock I guess there maybe an outside chance that a dealer would still have one in stock but I'd doubt if there's anyone to carry on Len's work...

I guess that's a downside when buying something 'manufactured' by a one man band specialist @MUTTY1 but perhaps one of the rebuilders of cartridges could sort it out for you, Goldring or Soundsmith, etc

I was THIS close to buying a Musicmaker for my Notts Analogue turntable. Maybe a secondhand one will turn up. RIP Len.
