Hi guys,
I have just installed a new Goldring 2500 to replace my DL110. It is aligned as well as possible and everything is set up to go.
The only problem is that I get ahum in one speaker. If I change the red ad white leads over on the cartridge the hum moves to the other channel. What could the problem be? The headshell wires? I didn't notice the hum on my other cart. Maybe because the output is lower?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Edit: I put my old DL110 back in and the hum has gone away. I turned them amp well up and I'm getting nothing. Surely it is a cartridge problem?
