Care home facilities

My friend is in long term care and his internet access is too weak to run a google mini. Phones do pick up the signal though but the signal strength is 1 and occasionally 2 max. We are going to try a wi-fi signal booster to see if this helps.

If we are unable to improve the signal strength, what can I expect the care home can do to help provide us with a service?

It is a great care home and the staff are amazing.

Find out what ISP they are using and whether they are using the supplied router. In many cases just swapping out the cheapo ISP supplied router for something suitable for a SOHO/small office network will improve matters.
