  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

So far impressed. For a 1" sensor the JPEG quality is VVG, despite some slightly aggressive sharpening in low light. Good colours bar the over rich crimsons and a decent build quality. Some vagaries to get used to but simply left on Auto, it does things really quite well. Perfect holiday cam? Maybe. I'll try to post some pics before too long. Right now, like jem H, I'm just 'snapping' anything that moves (or doesn't).

Here's one from a bright Saturday and two from a dull Sunday. All JPEGs on full auto.

follow the flickr link on the waterfall pic...impressed by the detail on a 1" sensor these days. Certainly all I need from a carry round camera.
