I have put this thread in the audio room as it does cover streaming music from my Mac Mini music server but to my Puer Evole Flow internet/WiFi radio for SWMBO.
Of course I now find out (after committing!) that the Flow doesn't support FLAC! However Google was my friend and there is an app called Serviio that will transcode the FLACs on the Mac Mini to something that the Flow can play.
Now I am an OSX numpty but there is a prerequisite to installing Serviio as follows:-
"Java 6 (or higher) software must be installed on your machine."
Can anyone tell me how can I find this out under Snow Leopard?
