Mogami / Van Damme are just regular cables, mostly neutral with decent dynamics, but tamed highs and not-too-detailed overall. The better cables, the better sound. My scm50asl started to shine only when I feed them through Van den Hul The Mountain. Also, the power cables makes a lot of difference - now using Siltech Explorers, but there's room for improvement here.
