Cabinet repair

Picked up a good pair of Ram speakers, the chipboard is coming away on one corner, how should I repair it?
I did think of filling it an vinyl wrapping them but its nice veneer.

Thanks you did a good job of that, the problem I have is two of the mitred joints on the base of the cabinet have opened up possibly due to moisture at some time

I remember the black 101.
Great little starter amp.
Cox HiFi in Churchill Square Brighton used to shift loads of them back in 1972. On there own or as part of a TT Amp Speaker package system.
Good to see one still being loved.

Opened mitre of a chipboard cabinet will be a very tricky one to close up.
You will need to remove some of the swollen chipboard and glue it back together, a fine saw might work. Clamping with a L shaped block to pull the edges together.

Thanks Pete that's given me something to think about, I am tempted to glue and fill it the vinyl wrap them as they sound so good
