Bryston B135 - MM stage option - opinions?

Whaleblue

Southbound
Anyone heard the MM stage in a Bryston B135?

Seriously considering the amp for my "change in direction" to stand-mounts, and part of the process is to work out ways to reduce the sprawl, currently over three "racks" down to one...

It would, of course, also mean a change to MM cart (or the outside possibility of an SUT if there is a small one!).

So - any experience/opinions on this?

Thanks, as always!

Well, I hope you get better replies to your specific question, but, FWIW, I added their MM phono module to Bryston's earlier B60 and was very disappointed. The integrated itself, however, was excellent.

Thanks Brab. How long ago was that?

About 10 years. If you want to pursue this, I would want assurances from Bryston that they have redesigned their module considerably which I doubt. I don't see Bryston putting much into phono stage development given their digital emphasis these days.
