Black & White printer

Hi,

Can anyone recommend me an inkjet printer that will print up to A4 and I can hook up constant flow only for B&W??

Budget is up to £300 excluding constant flow kit.

Hi Dave, I don't know much about "Constant Flow" kit for printers. If you want a printer for A4 B&W, I think you should probably be looking at Epson or Canon, rather than HP or Lexmark. I can get very good B&W prints out of my EPSON R2880 and would guess the A4 sized one would be just as good.

Hi,

Came across a printer today fitted with this sort of kit, heads compleatly blocked, knackered printer.

ps the Canon PIXMA MP980 Photo AIO printer seems to have won quite a few awards, featuring Grey ink as well as black....
 
Thanks guys... the Canon looks just the job.

After doing a little research I'm not sure constant flow is the way to go.
 
Computer shows usually have someone demonstrating a photo printer with tubes going out to huge inkwells.
They seem quite good to my untrained eye....
