Best hearing aids for HiFi

AirPod Pro 2s - you can load a self test audiogram onto them from another app and use ‘transparency mode’ which is ambient sound with gain and your own hearing correction. £220 I think. Works really well.

A point raised up thread- audiometry is pretty crude, it focuses on about 5 frequencies only in the speech range. I’ve not heard of any service offering a wider test range with correction for live music or hifi listening. I’m sure there’d be a limited but lucrative market.
Actually, I spent 4 months going back and forth to a specialist. Frequencies measured were up to 12k and they have a specific room with hi end kit that you sit and listen to music in and adjust until it sounds natural to you. I was able to try as many models as I wanted without paying a penny and there are now many that do aim for the full range for music. The price you are paying isn't just for the hardware it's for the service as well. I can go back any time I want for the next 2 years and spend as long as I think I need if something isn't right. Yes it was pricier than the NHS but the expertise of this place was well worth paying for - for me. The 'hearglasses' I got do make my piano sound as though I'm not wearing them though to be honest I don't really feel like I need them for playing.
