Best advice you ever got/ never got in your long hifi career.

Mine falls into the latter category, so I’m giving my mid 20s self this advice from my 64 yr old self now. Spend as much cash as you can in your system and push it . That’s difficult because you have so many competing demands on your money but your hearing will never be as good.

Stick with the 42/110 I bought in my 20s. I finally bettered it but only at 52/135 level.

The demos were always good and I got what I thought I wanted. The 42/110 was in reality all I needed.

One of the best HiFi advice I heard. I remember years ago, someone telling me that HiFi is a very selfish hobby.

At first I felt a little sad. But as time went on, it made sense!
