This story keeps revealing new horrors and senseless losses. Universal still won't state what was destroyed because - in all likelihood - they don't have a complete inventory, and they can't reveal what safety copies might still exist. An artist like Beck has probably had a major proportion of his art destroyed, with no recourse.
In the grand scheme of things, at least nobody died in the fire, but it is still an incalculable loss to the Music World. To those who haven't read the story, here it is again:
