Leicestershire. The advantage makes these very user friendly, used a mfa pre to great effect. The exposure pre I'm using Currently gives the sound more body. The exposure pre power with the Kensai is impressive but I'd still go with the built in amps.
Just had a question relating to a thread where I thought I had an issue with the amps in the advantage ,the sansui amp I had running as a pre was the problem and was serviced.
The kensai/Advantage never were the issue and i also had them looked over for my peace of mind. Anyone can listen now I have them set up.
Just thought i'd say for clarity .
I'm a little confused. You say the power amp section drives both but according to the review below the amp section powers the sub section alone and you need to power the highs and midrange with a separate amp?
Just need a pre amp , you could run a line out too the advantage and speaker cable to the kensai but looking at those photos and having spoken to Simon Ashton they aren't meant to be . Hope that helps definitely only a rca in and speaker cable from advantage to Kensai looking at that .
