Audioengine A2 alternative?

I want some new speakers for my macbook but the A2 might be a bit of overkill with it's 140; pounds asking price. Are there any good speakers for around 80 - 100 pounds?

I've had quite a few PC speaker set ups and non have bested my A2's

I'd say stump up the cash and thoroughly enjoy them

I just read a recommendation for the Behringer ms16. I haven't heard them, but they look interesting and are well under budget.

Kristoffer, I assume you are in Denmark, in which case you might want to check out the Argon 6340A at HiFi-Klubben. 999 DKK, and they bettered the AudioEngine A2 under very brief and un-controlled test conditions.

I don't see why they should not - they have mini-jack as well as RCA inputs. (Mini jack intended for iPods and similar devices, RCAs intended for more 'serious' options, such as docks, squeezeboxes etc.) So if your TV has some kind of line out my guess is that it will plug in just fine.
