[FS] Audio Technica AT666 'Disk Stabilizer' Vacuum Mat

Hi all,

I have two of these, so happy to let one go. This is the better one of the two in holding the record down (easily for the full duration).

Depending on your t/t (I would imagine it's more difficult to manage on a sprung jobbie), it certainly makes a noticeable difference on a good solid Direct Drive model. It's great at handling badly warped discs too:

How about £250 incl. p&p. The pump has the original box but the mat doesn't. However, they'll be well packed. These things seem to go for an awful lot more on auction sites.

If you fancy the 666EX box (battery vacuum pump as opposed to the manual one included here), we can negotiate.

You wonder what Audio Technica were thinking of when they numbered it :)

Mind you, I regularly drive on the A666 to Bolton...

just to say i use the earlier version AT-665BX and also the AT-600 ceramic mat both are much better than the stock Sony-TTS-8000 mat and also the tenuto mat i also have.
