Let me be blunt, while the blue frequency spectrum above with "Simple Symphony" might sound different, and some people might like it (the extra noise, like with DSD64 playback can be pleasing to some), I personally think this is not a good effect and antithetical to high fidelity playback. In fact, playing the MQA track decoded using Audirvana+ without "MQA Rendering" on the SMSL iDEA results in better low-level detail and objectively is closer to the original "master".
 
Indeed very interesting. I have MQA on tidal. It's deficient in as much as the content is not there, the place has parachocial smell about it and MQA itself hasnt impressed me. I know that because I don't listen to it very often.
