App to balance levels of stereo speakers

Is there an android phone app I can use to level the volume levels of a stereo pair of speakers from my listening position?

Put a mono recording on. Sit in the middle and adjust balance until the sound comes from the middle. Done. Or am I missing something here

I'm sure there are many choices of free SPL metering apps available. Just play some pink noise one channel at a time and twiddle the balance knob until they look the same.

Thank you, I just played some mono Sinatra and adjusted balance so old blue eyes was in front of me - perfect.

Don't know why I didn't think of using mono it's almost impossible with a stereo recording.
