oh man, immense improvement! much better timing and it definitely is a full sound, not used to this much bass while still sounding bouncy. it's certainly a keeper!

very happy. i don't know if it's the compliance matching thing, but there is far less surface noise than i was getting before as well. this has been a great step indeed.

just did a readjustment, was a bit too bassy for me so i backed off half a gram from the nominal 1.9g and increased vta a tad, sounds more lively now. i prefer a slight lean-ish presentation.
